I was born in London and educated at the French Lyçée, where I learned to speak fluent French. After a short stint as a tour guide, I worked in the Record business. During the ‘swinging sixties’ I played in bands, worked for Island Records, and ran the best record store in London. My clients there included the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Peter Sellers, Michael Caine, Jimi Hendrix and members of the Royal Family.

In 1968 I moved to Los Angeles where I continued to work in the record business. Record Stores, Record Labels, Radio Promotion, Producing etc.

During the ‘80s while living in Palo Alto, I formed a musical comedy troupe. I wrote, directed, produced and acted in this for several years. We were very popular in the bay area, but didn’t make much money so….

In 1986 I moved back to Los Angeles. where I have been a Production Designer in the Film Business for over 30 years. I won an MTV award for the Red Hot Chili Peppers “Give it Away.” A few years ago I started playing and performing music again. That led me to record CDs of my own songs. My musical influences are varied, I love most musical styles and that is reflected in my songs along with a typically wry British sense of humor.

Three of my favorite things in life are music, film & art…. I feel fortunate to be involved in all three.
